Macy is 4 Months Old!!!

Macy is 4 months old now and is doing fantastic! At her 4 month appointment she weighed 14 pounds, 1 oz (75 percentile) and was 25 1/2 inches long (85 percentile).

She continues to be a very active happy baby. She now rolls over both ways. She also loves to sit and stand even though she can’t do those two things on her own. She gets so excited and proud when she tries. Her favorite things to do these days include: looking in the mirror, nibbling on her toes and rolling over. She has also found her voice and loves to “talk”, she babbles and babbles and then starts laughing. She continues to love bath time but it is getting a lot messier now that she has learned how to splash water. She is a hoot in the tub but when we bathe her we have to prepare to get soaked ourselves!!

She has been sleeping great; she usually goes to bed around 9:30 PM and wakes up at 5:00 AM. She makes a great alarm clock because then I wake up at 5:00 AM to work out and I put her in bed with Daddy to sleep for another 2 hours before I feed her and head off to work. Greg brings her to Jen’s house every morning and I pick her up at night – it is a great schedule. And we are so lucky because she loves being at Aunt Jen’s during the day. She is a very happy, loving baby, we couldn’t be more blessed!!

Weekend At The Cabin

Last weekend, we headed up to the cabin for a long weekend. We were joined by:

The Wisti Family - my sister Jennifer, Jennifer's husband Jeff and their two children Brianna and Zachary

The Quinlan Family - my brother Trevor, Trevor's wife Lena and their two children Asher and Savannah

It was a fun weekend filled with lots of activities including 4-wheeling and swimming in the pond!!

All we could find was a watermellon dish for Macy to take a bath! It was pretty funny!!

Macy has so much fun during the day at Aunt Jen’s. This past week I was in Chicago for two nights for work, Jen brightened my days by sending photos of Macy during my meetings.

Macy is spoiled at the Wisti house because she gets to use Bri and Zach's old exersaucer - she loves it. Now we are going to have to buy one too!

Aunt Jen helped out Daddy by giving Macy her baths while I was gone.

A Visit from Cousin Dilan and Aunt Jenny

Macy finally got to meet her cousin Dilan and his Aunt Jenny from Montana! Dilan is 1 1/2 years old.

Rolling Over From Back to Tummy!

Macy now rolls over both ways!!! She rolled from tummy to back at 5 weeks and just started to roll from back to tummy on August 7th (almost 4 months old). She loves this new trick!! However she hates being on her tummy so she thinks it is a game to roll from her back to her tummy and then scream and cry until we roll her back over (even though you can see from this video that she can do it herself)!! :)

Macy has been working on her "tummy time" - she doesn't really like it but we are making strides. Cousin Brianna has been working with her during the day and Aunt Anita suggested we use the boppy and it makes her enjoy it a little more!!

Macy's Baptism

Macy was baptised at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Her Godparents are Jennifer and Jeff Wisti. Thank you to our all of our family and friends that joined us celebrate this exciting day!! Here are a couple photos:
